Who We Are

Pollen is led by Tim Cull, who founded the firm in 2009 as a bootstrapped software consultancy, grew it without outside funding, and makes a religion of delivering client projects on schedule and on budget. Between engagements at Pollen, Tim has spent thirty years in hands-on engineering leadership: leading the real-time big data group at Adobe Advertising Cloud, architecting geospatial and climate-hazard analytics at UrbanFootprint, fighting climate change at Audette.io, and building trading and portfolio systems at BlackRock and Barclays Global Investors. He has repeatedly taken on understaffed teams, unstable systems, and unclear strategy, and brought each to a stable, working state.
